Home Manager Job Performance Responsibilities
- Monitor all Program Assistants documentation.
- Provide ongoing home and van maintenance.
- Organize and schedule program staff for home activities and community events.
- Conduct quarterly fire drills on all shifts and other required disaster drills.
- Insure consumer clothing needs, hygiene and personal belongings are provided.
- Immediately report to the Executive Director all acts of suspected abuse, neglect, recipient rights violations, property damage, any incidents where staff or consumers require medical attention.
- Maintain records of consumer's funds and valuables.
- Participate in the hiring, disciplining, scheduling of Program Assistants.
- Attend organizational/planning meetings with the Executive Director.
- Consult with the Executive Director on problems affecting the home.
- Conduct staff meetings and report on consumer progress and home operations.
- Evaluate Program Assistants as required and monitor efficiency.
- Provide direct care services as needed. Must be able to meet the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the consumers.(*)
- Maintain communication between support agencies, parents, and guardians.
- Assist in providing for 24 hour coverage.
- Control and monitor accurate petty cash records, maintain the home budget, assist with the billing procdures.
- Process payroll records as necessary.
- Consult with Executive Director on fiscal needs.
- Contact Program Manager for assistance when necessary.
(*) Denotes a duty which may be non-essential.
Delegated Responsibilities
The Executive Director may delegate duties to the Home Manager whenever deemed necessary.
Evaluation
The Home Manager will be evaluated in accordance with the Personnel Policies established by the Board of Directors.
