Resident Advancement, Inc. was incorporated in August of 1986 as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of providing services and programs to persons with developmental disabilities.
In 1989, the first home, Henderson was opened in Davison, Michigan. The second home, Atlas Park, was opened in January 1990. Other homes followed and currently the corporation operates 15 group homes and several supported independent programs, and provides respite care for to families in the Sanilac County area. Our homes are spread throughout four counties. We also offer the services of Independent Facilitation, according to the Person Centered Planning process.
Resident Advancement, Inc. offers a strong and experienced Board of Directors. The credentials of the leadership, includes Special Education Administrator, a Teacher and Registered Nurse, a Teacher of the visually Impaired, and the Executive Director of Resident Advancement, Inc.
The Board strives to provide quality care and has a strong interest in providing high quality residential services. The Board is committed to enlivening and enhancing the lives of the individuals living in our settings. An open door policy is encouraged and staff, consumers, and the families are encouraged to contact the Board members or bring any concerns to the attention of the Board.
